Foreign ladder search not allowed

I saw some C&C sites allowing their visitors a direct search for their rank on the C&C ladder. According to the ladder page's bottom comment, you've to ask for permission at first to use that page in your site. So did I by an email to some of Westwood's workers:

    Hi Ted, Mary, Gavin & Greg,

    I would like to get your permission to show the C&Cgold ranks directly on my site http://kbserver.homeip.net/macmark

Unfortunately the answer from Virtual Ted wasn't what I hoped for.

    Sorry MacMark,

    We're not allowing that at this time. You might want to check with me in 6 months or so.

What do we learn from this? Well, all other C&C pages invoking the ladder page with search parameters aren't allowed to do so.
